A space with good acoustics has a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. The echo in a room is minimised with the use of the right materials and the sound of speech is clearly audible. Good acoustics have an essential impact on the comfort of a space and, in principle, the best acoustics are obtained when they are designed into the space at an early stage, for example as an acoustic ceiling. Afterwards, the acoustics can be improved by adding acoustic tiles to the ceiling and walls. Acoustic boards are also used to build character in the space and a huge number of options are available today. Boards can be printed with images, cut to shape, or tinted by painting or printing.
